Giovanni Traverso

Giovanni Traverso (Bolzano, 1969) graduated in architecture from the IUAV in Venice in 1994 and completed his studies with MsC in Light&Lighting at the Bartlett, University College London.
In 1996 he founded with Paola Vighy the traverso-vighy studio in Vicenza,where they develop light-weight buildings using experimentation, prefabrication and economical resources.
Their projects have included Spidi Sport’s new headquarters, the Salvagnini Technical Center in Izumi, Japan, and a polymorphous lighting for Illy’s bar and coffee shop.
