Spread the word, E-signature

It would be fair to say that, the lighting community is fairly small. Some unofficial numbers show that there is around 5000 professional and independent lighting designers worldwide. As our event is targeting a geography around Turkey (South east Europe, Ex-soviet unions, Middle East etc.) we are facing even less people to deal with. Of course our target audience is not only lighting designers but lighting professionals. That means anyone with whom lighting industry work together, architects, interior designers, electrical engineers, project managers etc…

Although we will use all the communication tools to reach out the lighting professionals in the area, the best way is still to get in touch with these people through you guys! Yes, you. Speakers, attendees, sponsors, anyone who is already involved into the event, who also believes (like us) that we need to get together certain time of the year to exchange ideas, to get to know each other, follow the latest trends and of course have fun!

Therefore, we need your help! You, as lighting professional, have already your network which is probably our target people also. And you work with them daily basis, you are friends on facebook, you’re together in linkedin etc… So you can let them know! Let them know that you are speaking at ALD Istanbul or attending to it or one of the sponsors of the event.

In a series of blog posts, we will try to explain several easy and effective way to do it. We hope we’ll get your support on that.

First one: E-signature

According to a research, there are 560.000 emails sent everyday. I don’t know you but I have an statistics around 100 emails per day. Probably you are around that number too. So imagine if you put our e-signature under your each e-mails, you would be helping us to remind your network about the event very effectively.

Well, I am not going to teach how to use an e-signature but in case you are not familiar with it, according to your e-mail program, you can find the links above how to do that.
